Oregon Dressage Championship Results: 2009

Bev Huddleston on the gorgeous 6 year old son of Wistar, Elusive, took home some lovely ribbons. The pair earned a 65.2% in their amateur training level division which was good enough for 5th place overall. They also received 4th place honors for there first level average of 65.21% Great job Bev and LuLu!

Paige & Dan Paige Romney and Dan finished as Reserve Champions in their open PSG championship class with a 63.684%. Paige who is 14 years old had to hold her own against some skilled professionals.
Paige also finished in a strong 4th position in the Intermediare One division. With her 63.421% she and pony were very happy with their performance at such a tough level.

Tekla & BonsaiTekla Jungaro and her lovely boy Bonsai had a show full of positive energy. She had a strong second level showing where she finished 5th in the standings over the weekend. She also finished 8th in the first level amateur division.

Karen Petty and her new mount Henry at their debut show. Henry scored a 75% and a 67% in their first two classes of what is sure to be a long and successful career.


Paige decided to clean and polish Jen & Tekla's boots in Spokane. I think she polished herself more than the boots!


A big congratulations to Diana O'Diear and her lovely mare Elegancia on their recent achievement of the USDF's Silver medal at the Beaujolais Dressage show in June. Diana and Ele have worked very hard for this accomplishment and we are all very proud of the pair.

NEWS FLASH!

Paige Romney (14 years old) and her handsome pony Dan O' Brien achieve their silver medal in 2009!

Paige and her talented pony Dan have had an outstanding season thus far. The pair are already qualified for the Oregon Dressage Championships, the Northwest and Region 6 championships at both the PSG and the Intermediare One levels.

Paige Romney Wins the Fourth Level Jr/Yr Championship at this years Oregon Dressage Championship 2008.

With her fabulous pony Dan O'Brien the pair finished with a 63.7% for the win at the beautiful Devonwood Equestrian Centre. She and Dan also were the Reserve Champions at Third level Jr/Yr.

2007 Championships

Paula and Solo finished 3rd place this weekend in the Great American Prix St George AA class. with a 64.7%


Diana Mellinger with her beautiful black mare Elegancia just completing their successful 3rd level Championship test. Diana went on the take the Reserve Championship title in the NWDC 3rd level and the Great American 3rd level Category this weekend at Donida Farm.


Piage and pony had a fantastic championship outing. Paige was the NWDC 1st level champion, the Great American First Level Reserve Champion, NWDC Second level Champion, and the Great American Second level Champion in the Jr/Yr division. Outstanding job Paige and Dan-O!!!


Ashley Boots and her hansome boy HS Windtalker by Wistar. Ashley has had a very exciting season competing at training level with her youngster. She headed down to California the begining of the season with me and is now schooling 3rd level. Watch for her next season in the FEI 6 year old classes.


We want to welcome Margot and her new mount Cendro Z to our Summervale family. Margot will be boarding with us at Summervale Farm and we can't wait to give you her first update. Watch for her in the ring next season.

2006 season

Paige Romney and her pony Dan'O had a very successful competition at the L'Apertif horse show in Redmond May 27th. Winning her training 4 class with a 68% and 1-4Q class with a 66.57%. She also received the Jr/Yr Highpoint. Congratulations Paige and Dan.



Kim Taylor

For her outstanding dedication and progress in such a short period of time. Also Kim was featured representing the Friesian/Saddlebred breed with her mare Princess in the December issue of Practical Horseman.


Flying W Farms Princess Star on Fire, a Friesian/Saddlebred Georgian Grande, competes successfully in dressage with owner Kim Taylor.

Paula went to Whidbey Island Equestrian center this past June where she did her first set of PSG's. She did a fantastic job with Solo bringing home two seconds, a 64% and a 65.25% and her silver medal.

Congratulations Paula.She will be adding in Intermediare one for her next show. The Champagne Classic. Best of luck!!!
